Jo Ann Thornton

Jo Ann Thornton died on February 12, 2022, with her family by her side.

She is survived by and will be sorely missed by her husband, Robert L Thornton, who loved her at first sight and her three children Johnnie Thornton, Donna McGrew, and Mark Thornton. Also missing her smile and her bright blue eyes will be her three grandchildren Anna Rico, Kyle Lalumandier and his wife Christi Matlock and Robert McGrew; and her two great-grandchildren Johnzie Carnley and Landon Lalumandier.  Jo Ann was preceded in death by her grandson Richard Toby Rico and her nine siblings, Eula Hardage, Fannie Lou Wadford, J.D. Gilmer, Huey Gilmer, Mary Watkins, John Spear Gilmer Junior, Martha Strickland, Frank Gilmer, and Helen Bell.  

No service is planned.  In lieu of flowers a donation to the Alzheimer Association will be greatly appreciated.
