Jimmie Olion White

Jimmie Olion White, 87, of Katy passed away May 14, 2023.

Born in Bishop, Texas to Ernest and Nell White, he lived in Polk County for many years.  Jimmie was an accomplished draftsman and his wealth of knowledge of all aspects of how to build a home from the ground up was very impressive. He loved to hunt and fish especially with his granddaughters who he adored as well as working on the farm.   He was a man of few words but full of knowledge.

Jimmie is preceded in death by his son Eric White, his mother, Nell Smith White and his father, Ernest Lee White.

He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Billie Ann White; son, James White and wife, Jill; granddaughters, Jess Westcott (Jordan) and Jordyn White; brothers, Paul, Donald and Mike; sisters, Ernestine and Theresa; and a host of other family members and friends.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at 10:30 am at the Midway Community Church in Livingston, Tx with burial to follow at the Midway Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 30, 2023, from 9:30 am until 10:30 am at the church.
