Jesse Lee Powers

Jesse Lee Powers, 58, passed away December 8, 2021 from complications of liver failure.

Born November 6, 1963, he grew up in Toole, Texas.  He worked as a cement driller.  He loved his family and fought hard to overcome his illness that eventually took his life.  Jesse will be greatly missed but he walks with Angels now.

Jesse was preceded in death by Maxine Raley and James “Paw-Paw” Raley.

He leaves behind his wife, Shelia; daughters, Laterressa Booker and husband, Gregory, Krysti Haymes and husband, John, Destiny Johnson and husband, Corey  and Rebecca Powers; grandbabies who will miss their Poppy greatly, Shyann, Evelynn, Jasper, Cheslie, Preston, Thunder, Corey, Jr., Kassandra, Ryker and Jaxon; his mother, Mary Herndon; sister, Mary Jane; numerous cousins and many friends.
