Jeff was born on February 14, 1963, in Austin, Texas to parents Thomas Terry and Patsy Carey Terry.  He moved to Baytown, Texas in 1967, and graduated from Barbers Hill High School, the University of Texas in Austin, and the University of Houston’s College of Pharmacy. 

Jeff owned and operated several pharmacies throughout his career, including The Medicine Shoppe and Goose Creek Pharmacy in Baytown. He offered free delivery at his pharmacy. Often times, when daily deliveries were already done, he would have someone make a second round for late scripts so elderly customers would not be without their prescriptions. Jeff also specialized in compounding medications especially useful in alleviating pain associated with hospice patients and others. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the outdoors, in particular, spearfishing offshore.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Patsy Terry, and is survived by his father, Thomas Terry, Dr. Greg (brother) and Laurie Terry, Sydney (sister) and Jack Platt, Kimberly Terry (sister) and Tacy Summersett, along with many nieces and nephews.

Jeff passed away on his 61st birthday.  The family will hold a celebration of life at a future date.
