Jeffery Scott Armstrong

Jeffery Scott Armstrong, 41, of Colmesneil passed away July 31, 2023.

Born in Liberty, Texas to Willie and Coleen Armstrong, he lived in Colmesneil for many years.  He worked for Windstream Communications and was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 450.  Jeffery enjoyed hunting, fishing and taking care of his dogs and other animals.  He also spent a lot of his time mudding, grilling, shooting guns, fixing and building trucks.   He could see a project and craft it to perfection.  He took pride in his land and it showed by the talent he had to use heavy equipment to clear and maintain it.

Jeffery was loved by all and anyone who came into his life was a friend.  He liked to have a good time and was known as the life of the party.  He was the one making sure that everyone had a good time and no one left without a smile on their face.

Jeffery is survived by his loving parents, Willie and Coleen Armstrong, Jr.; his kids, Bryce Armstrong and Alana Armstrong; brothers, Robert Armstrong and wife, Dana and Willie Armstrong, III and wife, Kim; nieces, Karlee Armstrong and Bailey Armstrong; nephews, Logan Armstrong, Camron Armstrong, Colton Armstrong and Sawyer Armstrong and a host of other family members and friends.

Funeral service will be held Friday August 4, 2023, at 10 am at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at the Sand Hill Cemetery in Colmesneil.  Visitation will be held Thursday, August 3, 2023, from 6 pm until 8 pm at the funeral home.
