Janis Olvik Wilson

Janis Olvik Wilson, 75, of Woodville, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Methodist Hospital in Fredericksburg, Texas.

Janis was born August 20, 1948, in Long Beach, California, to Russell and Irene Olivk.  She bravely served her country in the United States Air Force from April – December of 1968.  She married the love of her life, Willie, on August 10, 1973. She was a charter member of Faith Lutheran Church in Woodville. 

Janis was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Irene Olvik; a sister, Judy Olvik and her niece, Janis Shough.

She is survived by her husband of almost 50 years, Willie Wilson of Woodville; son, Russell Wilson of Wylie, Texas; and by her daughter, Elizabeth Wilson of Crandle, Texas. 

A memorial service will be held May 4, 2024 at 1 pm at the Faith Lutheran Church in Woodville, Texas.
