Janell Jones (Kimmey) Conner

Janell Kimmey Jones Conner, 80, of Colmesneil, Texas passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2023. She was born, Friday, September 17, 1943 in Jasper, Texas to Joseph J.P. Kimmey and Lillie Helen Griggs Kimmey.

She is survived by her children, Janice Denise Jones Allen and husband Russell, Hollie Deneen Jones Martin and husband John, Joseph David Jones and wife Janet, Linzee Ariel Leighann Conner Fowler and husband Cameron, Curtis Wayne Conner and wife Amber, Cleonard Curtis Conner Jr., Connie Denard; grandchildren, Allison Ivy Allen, David Brandon Allen, Tabatha Christine Marks, Carey Deneen Lowe, Jessica Lyn Jones, Cole David Jones, Grace Marie Fowler, Isaac Ray Fowler, Brett Bussell, Dylan Conner, Hannah Conner, Ashley Conner, Nicole Denard, Camden Conner, Brianna LeSha Conner Malos; great grandchildren, Maxamillio Stephen Garcia, Izabell Wrene Allen, Ethan Brennen Choate, Colton Richard Choate, Leland Michael Marks, Clay Conner Marks, Thomas Joel Chapman IV, Harper Lynn Conner, Eli Conner, Cash Kitchens , Brooks Conner, Beckham Conner, Khloe Madisyn, Liam James Malos, Kailyr Malos, Wrangler Malos; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Janell is preceded in death by her husband, Cleonard Curtis Conner Sr.; husband, Marion David Pete Jones; parents, Joseph J.P. Kimmey and Lillie Helen Griggs Kimmey; brother, Billy Preston Kimmy; sister, Helen Judene Kimmey McLemore; granddaughter, Jennifer Kitchens.

Funeral service will be held Monday, November 6, 2023, at 11 am at the Katy Baptist Church in Colmesneil with burial to follow at the Colmesneil City Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday from 10am until the time of the service.

Services are held under the direction of Riley Funeral Home, Woodville, Texas.
