James Edward Collier, 74, of Woodville passed away June 29, 2020.
Born December 18, 1945 in Orange, Texas to the late S. E. and Julia Collier, he lived in Tyler County all of his life. James was retired from Entergy Electric Company as a service man. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to all who knew and loved him.
James was preceded in death by his parents, S. E. and Julia Collier; sister, Judy Lewis; mother-in-law, Helen Grammer.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Patsy Grammer Collier; daughters, Karen Shaw and husband, Will and Sharon Jeansonne and husband, Fulton all of Woodville; grandchildren, Katie and Allie Ronaghan and Emma and Julia Jeansonne all of Woodville; brother, Mike Collier of Colmesneil; sisters, Sandra Eargle, Debbie Hughes and Sherry Walker all of Colmesneil; nephew, Jeff Grammer and wife, Natalie and daughter, Sabrina all of Spring; and numerous other family members and friends.
Grave side service will be held Friday, July 3, 2020, at 10 am at the Camp Ground Cemetery in Woodville with Dr. Raymond Parker and Brother Mark Tolar officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 2, 2020, from 5 pm until 7 pm at the funeral home.
