Ida Jo Seiley, 85, of Warren passed away May 9, 2022.
Born October 19, 1936 in Woodville, Texas to Bill and Gladys Chambless, she lived in Tyler County all of her life. She was retired from Warren ISD as a librarian. A member of the First Baptist Church of Warren,VFW Ladies Auxiliary where she was very active and served as the president at one time, she was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Warren Chapter. Ida Jo loved being outside especially working with her hands planting beautiful ferns which she truly loved. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
Ida Jo was preceded in death by her parents, Bill Chambless and Gladys M. Tucker Chambless; husband, Daniel R. Seiley; brother, Loyd Chambless and a sister, Belva Cartwright.
She is survived by her loving son, Chad A. Seiley and wife, Suzanne of Silsbee; grandson, Kyle Seiley of Beaumont; great granddaughter, Dylan Seiley of Dallas; brother-in-law, Rudy Seiley and wife, Paula; sister-in-law, Sheila Seiley; nieces, Becky Colville-Cameron of Texas and Carolyn Francis of Tennessee; nephew, Michael Chambliss of Texas; a host of other family members and friends.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, May 12, 2022, at 2 pm at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at the Camp Ground Cemetery in Woodville. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 12, 2022, from 1 pm until the time of the service.
