Gregory Collingwood passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2024.
He was born in Ephrata, PA, to William and Peggy Collingwood. He worked in the restaurant and construction industry for 40 years. Greg had an active and exciting life working as a Sioux Chef at a resort in Oregon, cooking for various actors and singers. Many famous people included Meryl Streep, Kevin Bacon during the production of “The River Wild,” Alan Jackson, Travis Tritt, Grizzly Adams, and Kenny Rogers, to name a few. But his favorite pastime was fishing, which he truly loved.
Greg is survived by his loving wife, Dawn Collingwood; his sister, Vickie Mason; and her husband, Jim of Oregon; his stepson, William Phoenix, Jr. of Tyler; and numerous other family members and friends.
Cremation services will be held under the direction of Riley Funeral Home.
