Gerald Paul “Jerry” Bennett, 53, of Warren passed away November 20, 2021.
Born in Beaumont, Texas to T. C. and Ruby Bennett, he lived in Warren for many years. He was a construction foreman and a U.S. Army veteran. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend to all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his father, T. C. Bennett; mother, Ruby Mae O’Quinn; brothers, Roy Walter Bennett and Robert Clay Bennett and his wife, Adeath Bennett.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Jeannie Bennett of many years; sons, Joshua Bennett, Joseph Bennett and Damian Simons; daughters, Cassie George and husband, Nicholas, Candace Riggs and husband, Brenton, Kimberly Bennett and James Bennett, Kathryn Box and husband, Aaron; niece/sister, Trinity Mayo and husband,, James; brother, James Bennett and wife, Beverly Altma; sister, Cindy Milstead and husband, John and numerous grandbabies, nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at 10 am at the Ebenezer Cemetery, Colmesneil, Texas. Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 23, 2021, from 6 pm until 8 pm at Riley Funeral Home in Woodville, Texas.
Serving as pallbearers will be Scotty Bolden, Thomas Simons, Brenton Riggs, Johnathan Bennett, Rickey Ambrose and Jeffrey Ruso. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Joshua Bennett, James Bennett, Joseph Bennett, Nick George and Keith Wade.
