Franklin Delano Sanford

Franklin Delano Sanford, 87, of Katy passed away July 22, 2020 at his home surrounded by family.

He was born July 12, 1933 in Jasper County, Texas to his late parents Curtis Alexander Sanford and Alice B Wiggily Sanford.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Betty Jean Sanford; daughter, Debra Denson and husband Bill; son, Michael Sanford and wife Melissa; grandchildren, Christopher Sanford, Jeffrey Sanford, Phillip Patterson, Jacquelin Denson, Nicholas Denson; great grandchildren, Mackenzie Patterson, Lilah Patterson, Magnolia Sanford, Oakley Patterson; sisters, Marie McCoy, Linda Hall; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Franklin was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Inez DeCuir, Wanda Boudreaux, Bobbie Kennon.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, July 25, 2020, at 1:00 pm at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at the Ebenezer Cemetery in Jasper County.  Visitation will be held Saturday, July 25, 2020, from 11 am until time of service.

Services are held under the direction of Riley Funeral Home in Woodville.
