Florence Juanell Caillier

Florence Juanell Caillier was born on April 9th of 1964 and went to the arms of our Lord on January 21st 2025.

She was the beloved youngest child of Carl C. Redmon Sr and Laurie Glynell Redmon (Hicks), who, along with her two sisters Cindy and Sue Redmon, received her in heaven.

Florence Juanell leaves behind her loving and devoted husband, Glenn J. Caillier of Spurger, Tx of whom she made a life.  As a lifelong homemaker and loving mother, she also leaves behind her daughter, Lucinda L. Jones and husband, Phillip of Baytown, TX, Lauranda Caillier of Spurger, TX and son, Zachary Caillier, also of Spurger, TX.  Her great joys of life were her two grandsons, Louis Caillier of Spurger and Jupiter Jones of Baytown, Tx.  She will be missed by many, including her brother, Carl C. (Bubba) Redmon, Jr and wife, Linda of Silsbee, Tx, nephews, Robert (Robby) Redmon and wife, Casey of Port Neches, Tx. and Joshua Redmon and wife, Jeralee and niece, Stephanie Garza along with a host of great nieces, nephews, friends and family.

“Flo” had been an avid supporter and attribute to Friends of the Silsbee Public Library for 5 years.  She had a great love for reading, crosswords, card games, and puzzles.  When she wasn’t at the library, she was with her grandsons, family and friends.  To have known Juanell was to know unconditional friendship and love.  Any time of the day or night you rang her phone, she was there with kind and uplifting words from an understanding and confidential ear.  She would give you a meal or whatever help she could.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 25th, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., at Faith Family Ministries Baptist Church, 1232 FM 92 Silsbee, Texas 77656, with Brother Dennis Whitmire officiating.

In lieu of floral arrangements, it was the wish of Florence to make donations toward the final cost and preparation of her earthly body.  Donations can be made directly to Riley’s Funeral Home in Woodville, Texas or to Lucinda Jones.
