Fate Edward Knighten, 19, of Spurger passed away on July 13, 2024. Born in Jasper, Texas to Josh Knighten and Jennifer McClelland, he lived in Spurger most of his life.
Fate was a beloved son with an amazing heart and a true spirit who made everyone around him feel better about themselves. Never without a smile and always there for anyone who knew him, you had no choice but to love him. He treated everyone the way we should treat each other.
Fate was a member of River Acres Chapel in Spurger, Texas. A member of the Revelators Motorcycle Ministry, he served as a tail gunner and was known as Skinny. He was an amazing young man who will be truly missed and never forgotten.
His grandfathers, Gilmer Knighten and Scooter Smith preceded him in death.
Fate is survived by his loving family, mother Jennifer McClelland; father, Josh Knighten; sister, Kassidy Flowers and husband, Chance; grandmothers, Shiela Smith and Donna Knighten; aunts and uncles, Michelle and JD Willis, Scott and Kimberly McClelland, Cody Knighten and Jennifer Knighten; numerous cousins who loved him dearly and countless friends who loved him like a brother.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, July 20, 2024, at 11 am at the River Acres Full Gospel Church, County Road 4445, Spurger, Texas. Burial will follow at the Fred Community Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, July 19, 2024, from 5 pm until 8 pm at the River Acres Full Gospel Church.
