Earl Wayne Odom, 74, of Woodville passed away June 22, 2020.
Born May 25, 1946 in Woodville, Texas to Kenneth Earl and Ouida Crosby Odom, he lived in Woodville all of his life. He retired from Mead Westvaco as a heavy equipment operator after forty-one years of service. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Earl Wayne was a man of his words and actions. Everyone knew where they stood with him. He loved his family and especially adored his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He taught his grandchildren the love of the Lord and the value of life by his actions and lessons he passed on to each and every one of them.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Linda Kay Chandler Odom; children, Mandy Livingston and husband, John, Tracy Montgomery and husband, Marcus, Molli Folkman and husband, Daren, Travis Buck Odom, Jared Wayne Odom; honorary children, Skipper Odom Faircloth and Rusty Hatton; ten grandchildren, Aaron Trent Walters and wife, Andi, Austyn Walters, Ashley Rasmussen and husband, Tyler, Rhiannon Sewell and husband, Beau, Justin Livingston, Kayla Folkman, Kensey Folkman, Jordan Folkman, Taylor Folkman and Emma Odom; four great grandchildren, Haidyn Elizabeth Sage Walter, Juliana Rayne Walters, Emerie Kay Walters and Hudson Cole Sewell; siblings, Alice Dale Haralson and husband, Joe, Marilyn McCabe and husband, Gordon, Milton Odom and wife, Betty; and a host of other family members and friends.
Funeral service will be held Friday, June 26, 2020, at 10 am at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at the Town Bluff Cemetery in Town Bluff. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 25, 2020, from 5 pm until 7 pm at the funeral home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Aaron Walters, Austyn Walters, Justin Livingston, Tyler Rasmussen, Marcus Montgomery, and Alfred Davis (Fat Albert).
