It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donald Shaw, a devoted father and grandfather whose life was marked by kindness, wisdom, and unwavering love for his family. Donald departed this world peacefully, leaving behind a legacy that will endure for generations. He was a pillar of strength and compassion. Known for his warm smile and gentle demeanor, he created a welcoming home for all who entered. His grandchildren were the light of his life, and he shared countless stories, laughter, and lessons with them, instilling values that have helped shape their lives.
Donald’s commitment to family extended beyond his immediate loved ones. He was a friend and mentor to many, always ready to lend a helping hand or offer sage advice. His generosity and spirit touched all who knew him, making him a cherished member of his community.
Donald was preceded in death by his wife, Blanche Shaw, and his parents, Ross and Juanita Shaw.
Donald is survived by his loving children, Nate Shaw and wife Julie Shaw, Will Shaw and wife Karen, brother Larry Shaw and wife Bobbie, and grandchildren Laurie Shaw, Nathan Shaw, Katie Ronaghan, and Allie Ronaghan. Nephew and nieces, John David Risinger Jr., Mike Risinger and wife, Amy, Lucy Chambers and husband, Jason, Amanda Kozma, Todd Shaw and wife Amy, Amy Williams, Melody Shaw. Great Nephews and nieces, Rachel Risinger, Kelsi Risinger, Jake Risinger, Conner Risinger, Carlie Risinger, Hannah Chambers, Emma Chambers, Sarah Randall, Rachel Shaw, Emily Shaw, Ben Shaw, Addison Shaw, Mason Williams, Marshall Williams, Mollee Williams, and Halee Kozma.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025, at 11:00 am at the Woodville Methodist Church with Rev. Doug Wintermute Officiating. Burial will follow at the Magnolia Cemetery in Woodville. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 10 am until 11 am.
Serving as pallbearers will be Lyle Rainey, Jerry Tolbert, Michael Watts, Jimmy Watts, Gordon McCluskey, Tim Kimbrough, Casey McCollough, and Jimmy Rawls. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be George Jarrott, Jim Mack Brown, Ray O’Brian, Fred Sullivan, and the Wednesday Night 42 Men’s Group.
