Donald Lee Guillory, 71, of Spurger passed away July 29, 2022.
Born October 20, 1950 in Sour Lake to Willie and Estelle Guillory, he was raised in Sour Lake and China. He was a retired trucker driver and welder. He and his wife, Sharon, have lived in Spurger for the past three years. Donald loved to hunt and fish. He was most famous for his stories that once he started everyone knew to pull up a chair because it was going to be a doozy of a tale. But his love was his family who he adored.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Guillory and Estelle Myers Guillory; granddaughter, Savanna Guillory and brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Sharon Guillory; son, Brandon Guillory and wife, Nicole of Spurger; grandchildren, Bryce Guillory, Landon Guillory and Kaydence Guillory all of Spurger; and faithful companion, BoBo and numerous other family members and friends.
A graveside service will be held Sunday, July 31, 2022, at 2 pm at the Turner Branch Cemetery in Spurger, Tx.
