Delilah Rosella Yawn Baker, 70, of Fred passed away September 1 2023 surrounded by family and friends.
Born in Silsbee, Texas to Winfred and Ima Yawn, she lived in Fred for many years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all who knew and loved her.
Delilah was preceded in death by her parents, Winfred Earl Yawn and Ima Lee Ard Yawn.
She is survived by her loving husband, Walter Lee Baker of Fred; children, Jesse Baker and wife, Deedra of Fred and Amanda Tolar; grandchildren, Amy Crosby, Magen Baker, Gracie Tolar, Maggie Cole and Noah Cole; great grandchildren, Ryder, Kaydence and Kaytlinn; sisters, Vivian Crosby and Earlette Duckworth; and a host of other family members and friends.
Funeral service will be held Monday, September 4, 2023, at 10 am at the First Pentecostal Church of Fred with burial to follow at the Baker Bell Cemetery in Fred. Visitation will be held Sunday, September 3, 2023, from 5 pm until 8 pm, at the First Pentecostal Church of Fred.
Serving as pallbearers will be Rusty Eddings, Byron Stowe, Bodie Crosby, Robert Earl Baker, Billly Wayne Baker and Dwight Thomas.
