Danny Ray O'Neal

Danny Ray O’Neal, 70, passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at his home in Irving.  He was born September 9, 1949 in Dallas, Texas to Hughey O’Neal, Jr. and Mildred Louise Zachry O’Neal.  He grew up on Irving and graduated from MacArthur High School in 1968.  He married Bonnie Sue in March of 1969 and enjoyed 47 wonderful years together before her passing in 2016.  Danny had many exiting jobs in his life, but his most treasured was being a Park Host with several National Parks in Colorado.  He was a member of Cross City First Euless.

Danny is preceded in death by his father, Hughey O’Neal and wife, Bonnie Sue O’Neal.  He is survived by his mother, Mildred Louise O’Neal; sons, Daniel Ryan O’Neal of Irving, Patrick Ray O’Neal and wife, Michelle of Kingston, Ok; daughter, Rebecca Sue O’Neal Lopez and husband, Raul of Bokchito, Ok; sisters, Pat Louise Scroggins and husband, Charles of Doucette, Tx, Renae Annette Cook and husband, David of Grand Prairie; brother, Hughey O’Neal, III and wife, Terri of Irving; four grandchildren, Jonathan Lusk, Nathan Lusk, Jacob O’Neal and Danielle Timmerman.

Family will receive friends from 3 – 4 pm Saturday, February 22, 2020 with services to follow at 4 pm at Donnelly’s Colonial Funeral Home in Irving, Texas.  Interment will be held Monday, February 24, 2020, at 10 am at the Camp Ground Cemetery in Woodville, Texas under the direction of Riley Funeral Home in Woodville, Texas.
