Daniel Wayne Summerlin

On Wednesday, October 7, 2020 Daniel Wayne Summerlin a beloved husband and father of three children passed away at the age of 46. Daniel was born on August 20, 1974 in Houston, TX to David and Regina Summerlin. He worked with Simco Enterprises for 22 plus years and supervised for 10 years. On April 25, 1998, he married Melissa Gwyn Cook. They raised two sons and D.J. and Dustin, and a daughter Kassidy. He was a family man who enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing and hunting amongst many other things. His biggest passion was fishing and of course froggin. He was a genuine, loving, overall great man. He would give you the shirt off his back and not think twice about it. But most importantly he was the best pepaw to his grandkids. He will be greatly missed but not forgotten and loved by all.

Daniel Wayne Summerlin was preceded in death by his father David F.W. Summerlin.

He is survived by his loving  wife Melissa Gwyn Summerlin and their children: his son Daniel Wayne Summerlin Jr. and wife Kasie Summerlin, daughter Kassidy Gwyn Wiggins and husband Joshua Wiggins, son Dustin Wayne Belsey and fiancé Roqlyn Mesecke; grandchildren Kyleigh Grace Wiggins (7), Shane Daniel Wayne Summerlin (7), Madaleigh Faith Wiggins (6), Bevynn Danielle Summerlin (4), and Maverick Danton Belsey ( 1 1/2); his mother Regina Summerlin,;siblings Dana Lee Hutto, and David F.W. Summerlin Jr.; and a host of other family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held October 24, 2020 at 1 pm at the Bible Believers Tabernacle, 12978 US HWY 69, Warren, Texas 77664.
