Dale Ryals passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at 4:45 a.m. A man of quiet strength and profound wisdom, Dale lived a life defined by hard work, kindness, and an unwavering devotion to his family.
Born on January 3, 1953, to the late Conrad Lynn Ryals and Bonita Ryals, Dale was a cornerstone of his family. He is now reunited in peace with his beloved wife, Barbara Ryals, who preceded him in death.
A true provider and teacher, Dale spent his life demonstrating the value of a hard day’s work. He instilled a legendary work ethic in his sons, teaching them that character is built through perseverance and integrity. To those who knew him well, he was a source of steady guidance and a man of deep, practical wisdom.
Some of the family's most cherished memories were formed on the river, where Dale was truly in his element. Whether he was running trot lines or simply enjoying the quiet of the water, those fishing trips were where he shared his patience and his love for the outdoors. At home, he was a formidable chess player, using the game to teach the boys strategy, focus, and the importance of a thoughtful mind.
His legacy lives on through his two sons, Jesse Dwayne Ryals and Charles Alan Ryals. He was a proud grandfather to Jesse’s daughters—Jacey, Bailee, and Karli—and Charles’s sons—Calvin, Hunter, and Logan. He was also blessed to be a great-grandfather to Jacey’s children, Wyatt and Willow.
Dale Ryals was a good man, a wise mentor, and a loving father. He will be deeply missed by his family, his friends, and all those whose lives were touched by his kindness.
