Connie Eloise Howell

Connie Eloise Howell, 74, of Vidor passed away January 8, 2021.

 Born January 7, 1947 in Pineville, Louisiana to the late Earl and Doris Morelock, she lived in Chester for many years before moving to Vidor to be closer to family.  Connie was a business owner who worked hard and was a shining example to her family.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to all who knew and loved her.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Doris Morelock, husband, Shorty Howell and sister, Janet Sellman; sons, Darrell Howell, Kevin Howell, Baby Boy Howell and 3 Miscarriages.

She is survived by her loving family, daughters, Zina Woodward of Vidor and Crystal Free and husband, Jimmy of Vidor; brothers, John Morelock of Beaumont, Jerry Morelock of Washington State and Danny Morelock of Etoile, Tx; grandchildren, Tressie Jenkins, Belinda Sills, Caytlin Free and Ashlin Free; great grandchildren, Christian Jenkins, Angelica, Avalee and Trinity Riveria, Vinita Anderson and Christopher Sills; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at 2 pm at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with Burial to follow at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Chester, Texas.  Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 13, 2021, from 12 pm until the time of the service.
