Clifton Marion Thompson, Jr.

Clifton Marion Thompson, Jr., 58, of Warren, Texas, passed away Friday, May 2, 2025, in Keeling, Virginia.

Clifton was born August 18, 1966, to Clifton Sr. and Nora Thompson in Kountze, Texas.  He loved hunting, fishing, and grilling – steaks were his specialty.  He was a hard worker and a very loved and loyal friend to many. 

Clifton is survived by his daughters, Lacee Thompson and Alexis Thompson, both of Warren, Texas and their mother, Sherry Thompson of Warren; sisters, Melissa Thompson-Carson of Spurger, Texas and Theresa Ann Gilmore of Warren, Texas; his beloved Yorky-Pooh dogs, Billy and Barney; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifton Sr. and Nora Thompson; brother, Clifton Scott Thompson; brother-in-law, Forrest Carson; and best friend, Bill Burt.   

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 13, 2025, from 9 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel in Woodville, Texas.  Officiating will be Brother Cole Clark.
