Clarence "Sonny" Cleveland Hicks

Clarence Cleveland “Sonny” Hicks, 87, of Woodville passed away June 8, 2021.

Born March 8, 1934 to Clyde Cleveland and Ettie Lee Walker Hicks in Spurger, TX, he was the youngest of 13 children.  He worked in the oil and gas industry for most of his adult life which allowed him to travel the world and live overseas for many years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, twelve brothers and sisters, and grandson, Beau Watkins.

He is survived by six children: Cynthia Massey and husband Paul of Cairo, Georgia, Nancy Huddleston of Lynn Haven, Florida, Carole Welker and husband Web of Nederland, Texas, Larissa Daley and husband Danny of Woodville, Texas, Lawerance Hicks and wife Ashleigh of Woodville, Texas and Clyde Hicks and wife Holly of Woodville, Texas. Fourteen grandchildren: Jenny Bertschy, Heather Neubauer, Shannon Huddleston, Gena Walters, Andrew Eagleson, Tylor Eagleson, Denise Sanderson, Shelby Miller, Kyle Norton, Caiden Daley, Aspen Hicks, Bailey Hicks, Kyleigh Broom, and Cadance Hicks; 14 great grandchildren.

An urn committal will be held Saturday, June 19, 2021, at 11 am at the Beech Creek Cemetery in Spurger, Texas.
