Cindy Marie Ferguson

Cindy Marie Ferguson, 55, of Chester passed away May 15, 2022 in her home surrounded by loving family.

Cindy was born December 12, 1966 to Wilburn and Nancy Neal.  Cindy was a member of the Chester Fire Department for several years.  She enjoyed fishing and crabbing with her family and especially loved her kids but her grandchildren were everything to her.  Cindy was known for her great sense of humor, her helpful spirit and the beautiful smile that always accompanied her positive attitude. 

Cindy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Johnie and Eunice Standley and Turner and Donna Neal.

She is survived by her loving husband, Carl Ferguson of Chester; parents, Wilburn and Nancy Neal of Chester; daughters and sons-in-law, Doey and Zac Nelson of Chester and Sara and Kyle Chandler of Corrigan; granddaughters, Blythe Nelson of Chester and Baiylee Nelson of Tarkington; siblings, Donna Adams of Canyon Lake, Lisa Johnson of Chester and Tom Neal of Chester; special friend, Donna Bertrand and a host of other family members and friends.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at 11 am at the Riley Funeral Home with Brother Daryl Young and Brother Mark Young officiating.  Burial will follow at the Mt Hope Cemetery in Chester, Texas.  Visitation will be held Wednesday from 10 am until 11 am.

Serving as pallbearers will be Bo Standley, Bit Standley, Tim Mcarty, George Standley, Scotty Ogden and Stevie Willson.
