Christine Ann Horn, 69, of Warren, passed away January 20, 2026.
Born in El Paso, Texas, she lived in Warren for many years. Quiet and timid, Christine was known as a sweet and gracious person who always had a smile on her face and her door open to anyone who needed to talk. She always put her family first, sacrificing so that they would always have everything they needed and wanted. The love she gave and the lessons of selflessness will continue to be taught through her children and grandchildren.
Christine was preceded in death by her father, C.W. (Punk) Swearingen; mother, Susie Ann Hartner Swearingen; husband, James Payne; and brother, Ray Beaugh.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, sons, James Ray Payne and wife, Cindy of Warren and Jacob Horn of Warren; daughter, Amy Fincher and husband, Wes of Lufkin; grandchildren, Cody Henley and wife, Brandy of Warren, Destiny White and husband, Danny of Huntsville, Katlan Foxworth and husband, Bronson (Possum) of Fred, Ethan Payne and wife, Morgan of Warren, Cole Payne of Warren, Kayla Fincher and partner, Bryce Case of Lufkin and Wriley Fincher of Lufkin; great grandchildren, Maci and Parker Henley, Adallee and Axle Foxworth, Colston Payne, Raelynn Payne, Trey White and Taylor Case; brother, Boyd Swearingen and wife, Myra and a host of other family members and friends.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at 1 pm at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Chance Sims officiating. Burial will follow at the Bumstead Cemetery in Warren. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 26, 2026, from 5 pm until 8 pm at the funeral home.
Serving as pallbearers will be James Ray Payne, Jacob Horn, Wes Fincher, Cody Henley, Ethan Payne, Cole Payne, and Wriley Fincher.
