Chris D Rains

Chris D Rains, 63, of Woodville, Texas, passed away on April 25, 2020 in Woodville.

Chris was born in Baytown, TX to Arnold D Rains & Mary Nell Nabours Rains on October 29, 1956. Upon graduating from Woodville High school May 28, 1976, Chris worked for Bayer Chemical for 23 years.  He loved his children, grandchildren and family with all his heart and enjoyed watching all of their sporting events.  Chris enjoyed cooking, hunting and being outdoors.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Audie Rains.

Chris is survived by his children Maegan “Sissy” Rains Odom of Woodville, Bryce “Bubba” Rains of Colmesneil; grandchildren, Miley and Maryn Odom; sister, Tana Rains Eaves and husband Russell; brother, Derrick Rains and wife Stacy; special friend Gail Rains Dowden; he is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at Magnolia Cemetery with Brother Larry Trest officiating.
