Billy Edgar Davis

Billy Edgar Davis, 58, of Colmesneil passed away on May 29, 2023.

Born in Woodville, Texas to O. D. and Billie Jean Davis, he lived in Colmesneil all of his life.  He retired from the logging industry.  He was a loving and devoted father, grandfather, brother and friend.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents, Ocea David “OD” Davis and Billie Jean Abbott Davis; brother James Ocea Davis and nephew, David Davis.

He is survived by his children, Shelbe Willson and husband Dustin of Colmesneil, Marina Davis of Woodville, Dalton Davis of Woodville, Tanna Pike and husband, Neal of Jasper and Trishta Davis of Woodville; girlfriend, Clara McMillian; brothers, Charles Davis and wife, Rita and Wesley Davis and wife, Robin; sisters, Nelda Burton and husband, Owen, Jolene Teutsch and husband, Kenneth and Donna Gail Lee; numerous grandchildren, other family members and friends.

Pallbearers will be Eric Lee, Zachary Bryan, Tyler Davis, Jayden Ferguson, Wesley Tompkins, Dillon Tompkins, and George Rogers.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, June 1, 2023, at 1 pm at the Davis Cemetery in Colmesneil with Brother Bubba Sheffield and Brother Alex Rawls officiating.   Visitation will be held Thursday, June 1, 2023, from 10 am until 12 pm at Riley Funeral Home.
