Billy Durwood Bumstead was born on January 29, 1942 in Warren, Texas to Bill and Minnie Bumstead, and entered his heavenly home, surrounded by his loving family on May 17, 2021 at age 79. Billy graduated from Warren High School in 1961. He was a well-known building contractor and cabinet maker in the Tyler County area for many years before retiring from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice where he taught wood-working. Billy was a member of Camp Ground Baptist Church where he shared his love of the Lord and his passion for singing. Billy always said his most proud achievement was his wife, kids and grandkids. Every tear we shed is an “I Love You” from him.
