Bennie Joan Conner

Bennie Joan Conner, 85, of Colmesneil passed away June 16, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Claud and Hannah Beal; husband, Karl Crosby; grandchild, Jared Ballard; great grandchild, Elliott Walters; brother, Charles Beal and sister, Emma Blackmon.

Bennie is survived by her loving husband, Leonard Conner, Sr.; children, John Michael Crosby and wife, Peggy of Colmesneil, Teresa Joan Whiteside and husband, James of Thicket, Karla Christine Ballard and husband, James of Winfield, Thomas Roy Crosby and wife, Carolyn of Woodville, Burtis Conner and wife, Trina of Colmesneil and John Conner and wife, Teresa of Great Falls, Montana; grandchildren, Shelly Crosby, Karl William Crosby, Rachelle Meche, James Allen Whiteside, Emilee Walters, Seth Ballard, Shane Ballard, Cheyenne Ballard, Cory Conner, Kayla Conner, Dane Conner, Aaron Conner, Cynthia Poston, Becky Conner, J. T. Conner; a multitude of great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; sisters, Marea Alferd and Dean Cain; and a host of other family members and friends.

Funeral service will be held Monday, June 19, 2023, at 1 pm at the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Colmesneil with burial to follow at the Ebenezer Cemetery in Colmesneil.  Visitation will be held Sunday, June 18, 2023, from 5 pm until 7 pm at the church.
