August Harrison Braun, 78, of Hillister passed away January 14, 2021.

Born January 18, 1942 in Orange, New Jersey to the late Herbert and Ida Braun, he lived in Hillister for many years. He was a retired roofer. He was a loving and devoted father and grandfather who loved and adored his family.

August was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Ida Braun; brothers, Herbert Braun, Donny Braun and Pete Braun; and son, Keith Braun.

He is survived by his loving children, daughters, Kim Redden and Dana Dooley and sons, Scott Braun and Joseph Braun; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.

Cremation service was held under the direction of Riley Funeral Home and Crematorium.
