Audrey Muriel Rohwedder

Audrey Belt Rohwedder, 79, passed away December 20, 2023.

Born in Colmesneil, Texas to Thomas and Irene Belt, she lived in Silsbee for many years.  Audrey worked as a nurse’s aide and sat with people who were in need of comfort and caring.  She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and she loved her cats and birds.

Audrey was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Belt and Irene Owens Belt; and a sister, Marie Haynes.

She is survived by her loving sisters, Mildred Flowers and Wanda Belt both of Colmesneil, Mary D’Armond of Kountze, Linda Hearn and husband, Ronald of Warren, Billie Lowe and husband, Tim of San Antonio, Dianne Leblanc and husband, Leathon of Silsbee and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel at 10am.  Burial will follow at the Colmesneil City Cemetery.
