Andrew “Andy” J. Yanock passed away November 29, 2023. He was 85 years young. Andy was born in Wharton, New Jersey, on May 3, 1938 and moved to Dover, New Jersey in 1953 graduating from Dover High School in 1956.
He was a member of Saint Mary's Catholic Church. He worked for Hercules Power, in Kenvil N.J. for 13 years. Andy then moved to Montgomery, Texas in 1973 where he worked for Owens Corning Fiberglass, in Conroe, Tx, retiring in 2003 after 30 years. Andy then moved to "Lake Ivanhoe" in Woodville Texas in 1993 where he loved to fish.
Andy was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew J. Yanock and Mary Galovic, and his two sisters Julia Rose Yanock Morse and Mary Galovic Yanock Squier, Brother-in-law Norman Morris, and loving son David Yanock.
He is survived by his loving wife Jennie, three sons, Drew, Mike, and Charles, and his two daughters Carol Yanock Banner and Lea Ann Yanock. Andy was also survived by his 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Monday, December 4, 2023 at 11 am at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel in Woodville, Texas. Visitation will be held 10am until time of the service.
