Andrew Milton Parks, 66, of Chester passed away June 28, 2022 surrounded by his family.
He was born December 22, 1955 to his parents Harold Milton Parks and LaVann Marie Bourne Parks. He was retired from Georgia Pacific as a lead fireman. Andy was a loving family man and outdoorsman. He passed his love of fishing, hunting and camping to his son, Buster, who passed it down to his boys. He was a hard worker who never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a hand when it was needed.
He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Ann Marie Waggenspack Parks of Chester; son, Buster Parks of Spring; FAVORITE daughter-in-law, Eleni Parks of Spring; grandsons, Braydon Parks and Leighton Parks; sister, Lu Kontominas and husband Johnny of Anahuac; niece, Ali Kontominas; and numerous other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to St. Judes Children’s research.
A graveside service was held Saturday, July 2, 2022, 10am, at Mount Zion Cemetery in Chester.
