AC Hensarling Obituary

AC Hensarling was the youngest child of Addie Addison Hensarling and Hiram Chester Hensarling.   Born in the middle of the great depression, AC grew up on a farm just outside of Woodville, TX.

AC loved to hunt and fish, but it seemed that fishing was his greatest passion.  He always kept his fishing tackle ready to go.  Even when he moved into a care facility, the fishing pole and tackle came with him.

AC worked in various jobs during his life, but later in life became an independent business man collecting and selling used materials and parts.  He and his late wife, Wynona, lived in Splendora until they moved into assisted living in 2012 due to deteriorating health conditions.

Mr. Hensarling is preceded in death by his parents, Chester and AddieHensarling; his wife, Wynona; his sisters, Lennie Mahaffey, Nina Letney, and Mae Sawyer; Brothers, John, Delbert, Clarence and KimmieHensarling.

He is survived by his son, Billy WayneHensarling and his wife, Jerrie Hensarling; granddaughter, Kim Parrish and husband BJ; grandson, Billy Wayne Hensarling II and wife Beckie; great grandchildren, Trey Battles, Chase Battles, Leah Hensarling, and Tayler Davis as well as a host of other nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, September 30, 2020, at 2 pm at Campground Cemetery in Woodville.
