Travis Lee Moore

Travis Lee Moore, 74 years old of Chester, Tx went to be with the Lord, Friday, February 21, 2014 with his wife and family by his side. Travis was born October 20, 1939. He married Oma Elizabeth Williams Moore. He worked as a fireman for the Beaumont Fire Department and retired from the Silsbee Post Office. He was a member of Hillister Assembly of God. He loved farming, fishing, hunting and caring for his family. He will be loved and missed.
Travis is survived by his wife of 55 years, Oma Elizabeth Williams Moore; daughter, Joan (Glen) Conner of Woodville; son, Travis "Doone" (Susie) of Silsbee; daughter, Shelley (Raul) Suazo of Kingwood; brothers, Don (Eugenia) of Silsbee, Dwon (Barbara) of Fred, Roy (Kay) of Fred, Robert (Nancy) of Woodville; sisters, Nova Stumpf of Silsbee, Bobbie Gregory of Fred, Martha Ard of Fred; sister-in-law, Judy Moore of Fred; grandchildren, Joseph (Lauren) Conner, Jarrod (Jill) Conner, Jess (Kayla) Conner, Troy Moore, Luke Moore, Koti Moore, Curtis (Brittany) Moore, Macy Shackelford, Gentry Suazo and Rory Suazo; great grandchildren, Carson, Elliot, Cannon, Edward, Serenity, Destiny, Kayden and Case; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Opal Moore; children, Carrie Colleen and Kevin Shayne Moore and a brother, Dennis.
Serving as pallbearers will be Joseph Conner, Jarrod Conner, Jess Conner, Troy Moore, Luke Moore, Curtis Moore, Gentry Suazo and Phillip Moore.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 25, 2014, at 10 am at the First Baptist Church in Woodville. Burial will follow at Franks Branch Cemetery in Fred, Texas. Visitation will be held Monday, February 24, 2014, from 5 pm until 8 pm at Riley Funeral Home in Woodville, Tx.
