John Davis Obituary

John Wayne Davis, 85, of Chester, Texas passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 12, 2020 under the care of Hospice in the Pines after a brief illness.

He was born August 7, 1934 to parents, John W. and Pearl Davis. He was a lifelong resident of Chester, Texas. He was a logger for many years.

John was preceded by his parents and wife, Barbara “Sue” Tovrea Davis.

He is survived by his children, Amanda (Alex) Espino of Chester, Mike (Betty) Davis of Chester and Bryan (Cheryl) Davis of Chester; grandchildren, Cody Davis, Valentin (Jelissa) Espino, Alexa Espino, Wayne (Lori) Davis, JR (Amber) Davis, Jessalyn (Brad) Jones, Jarred (Vonica) Davis and Trent (Jamee) Davis along with numerous great grandchildren.

At his request, he will be cremated and his ashes will be spread at his treasured Caney Creek Ranch.
