Albert Henry Puntes, 67, of Spurger passed away on January 11, 2020.
Born October 3, 1952 in Silsbee, Texas to the late Robert and Alice Dehart Puntes, Jr., he lived in Spurger most of his life. He was a pipe fitter and welder by trade. Albert had a strong love of family and enjoyed spending time with them mostly outdoors. He had a passion for hog hunting, deer hunting, fishing and riding horses. Albert never met a stranger and enjoyed spending time in the hunting lease with his many friends.
Albert was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Edward Puntes.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Lucy Puntes; daughters, Jana Puntes, Johna Puntes and fiancé, Kevin Creamer; grandchildren, Colt, Faith and Tinley Creamer; brother, Robert (Bobby) Puntes and wife, Cheryl; sisters, Alicia Holder and husband, George, Mary Moss and husband, Buford; sisters-in-law, Debbie Puntes and Linda Segrest and husband, Virgil; nephews, Clay Puntes, Matt Moss, Ty Gibson, Virgil Segret, II and Darren Segrest; nieces, Paula Puntes, Robin Ankeny, Heather Smith, Amber Johnson, Holly Puntes, Amber Meredith, Jennifer Hutson, Jill Segrest and Ginger Dykes; great nieces, Shelby and Sidney Puntes, Leah, Bella and Georgia Osborne, Adisyn Henderson, Madison Gibson, Marcie Moss, Addison and Trinity Dykes and Olivia Johnson; great nephews, Jackson and Lucas Ankeny, Bryson and Jaxon Meredith, Logan and Luke Moss, Andrew Segrest, Cody and Caleb Winkle, Cole and Corey Segrest, Tucker and Blake Dykes; and many other family members, friends and his hog hunting buddies.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 14, 2020, at 2 pm at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held Monday, January 13, 2020, from 5 pm until 8 pm at the funeral home.
